Welcome to the Yola Dub House with Mister Flic!
Mister Flic himself definitely is a heavyweight, not just as a DJ behind the turntables. He always doesn´t mince matters and let you know what it’s all about, independent if it hurts or not… the complete opposite of this are his sounds, playful dub-basslines laying on the ground, preparing a warm basement for delicate synthpads and piano chords ornated with discreet percussive elements. Thats what we call easy listening stuff by merging timeless grooves and epic atmospheres. Beside we got the debut of Bjorn Rohde for doing a great dubby remix on the original for the first Yola Dub House Session.

Based on our label philosophie the different eposides will cover a large spectrum in electronic music from Techno and Dub to Deephouse and Downtempo. Every single episode will be mixed by an artist related to the Diametral Network in any way, starting with our latest family-member Marco Madia from Berlin. DRChill morphs into Wohnzimmermusik
The fortcoming DRChill release by Phoenix will be also the last one on this imprint. After a long time of thinking about how to deal with our chill releases in the future we decided to turn the DRChill catalog into an own separate label called “Wohnzimmermusik” , related to that laidback electronic stuff just for listeningtimes in your livingroom. The genre can differ from downtempo, house to electronica but also drum’n bass or triphop, still with the aim to bring some relaxed tunes to your ears. We will start next time with the first EP “Natural Instinct” by Matthias Springer with 3 great deep chillhouse tracks and an epic jazz dub edit of his alter ego Aksutique together with ukrainian saxophonist Dmitriy Samoylenko. Welcome Marco Madia on Diametral Extra
We are very happy to welcome Berlin based italian Marco Madia to the Diametral Network, who already conviced us with his sound on his latest release for Dewtone. Now he is presenting a new EP, close to an album, with about 6 Tracks on Diametral Extra (DREX). The complete release is a journey into deep mesmerizing sounds, full with dubness and warmth based on soft basslines, reduced percussions and epic pads.

Drehkontrolle aka Sven Kegel is presenting his new Track “Beathovens Sphere” on Diametral, directly moving onto the dancefloor by using stripped down techhouse-beats combined with an epical break including great classic strings. For remixing we did a big label-coop with the labelheads of Bulletdodge, Gareth Whitehead, Overdrive Records, Sophie Nixdorf and Skript Music, Robin Jacobs, all interpreting the original in their very unique electronic way.

beat Project consists of the two Berlin based producers Spinne and Amebasound who originally came out of the HipHop and EBM scene, now diving into some downbeat and ambient. Flashbeat Project already gave their release debut on “Not that Simple Sound“, the first Diametral Chill release in 2011, presenting now the first single EP “Strange Feeling” with 5 tracks inviting the listener to a journey of time and space.
